Marvel and DC Comics have both given fans multiple years of solid television with this year being no exception. With that in mind, DeepBoyce and HazyRome decided to dip their toes into the Marvel Comics vs DC Comics battle by deciding which brand provides the better experience on the small screen.
Marvel has given birth to multiple years of Netflix series in the form of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist with The Defenders and The Punisher on the way. We have also seen Marvel Comics spawn shows on the ABC network including Agents of SHIELD (recently featuring characters like Ghost Rider!), Agent Carter (cancelled way too soon), and the upcoming Inhumans mini-series. Despite the plethora of offerings from Marvel under the banner of “Everything’s Connected” in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, DC Comics has also brought the heat with what has become known as CW’s Arrowverse. DC Comics has created their own television interpretation of their comic book lore across several shows including Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, and the upcoming Black Lightning (which will not crossover with the Arrowverse in Season 1). Fans of DC comics have been able to follow a web of somewhat interconnected stories featuring a wealth of DC Comics characters like Green Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Superman, Black Canary, Firestorm, and Deathstroke. Marvel vs DC is not an easy battle to fight, but it’s one that needs to be fought in Hall of Spoilers!
